Another show followed at the gallery in 1991, “Please Do Not Touch” and featured David’s most ambitious work to date, “Homage,” a 74 x 48 inch trompe l’oeil paying tribute to the Hudson River School’s most prestigious artists.  The painting quickly found a place in the permanent collection of the MASCO corporation and was featured in the Knoxville Museum of Arts 1996 exhibition, “American Grandeur:  Masterpieces from the MASCO and Manoogian Collection.  David was the only living artist represented in that show.
